hillside towns surrounding Rome. Every Tuesday and Saturday afternoon from April 1 to October 31.. 
Piazza dell'Esquilino - Piazza Venezia
- Baths of Caracalla - Appian Way, the oldest Roman road - Albano, the
historical town of Albalonga, a modern village which looks across the
ancient volcanic Lake - Castelgandolfo, the summer residence of the
Pope - Ariccia, a small village once isolated high in the mountains
but now easy to get to by a huge bridge constructed by Pope Pio IX -
Genzano, the birth place of MarcoAntonio Colonna, the famous General
of the battle of Lepanto in 1571 - Nemi, famous in all the world for
its strawberries - Frascati, famous for the production of white wine.
From the height of 400 metres it is possibile to enjoy a beautiful panoramic
view. Here a stop will be made to permit Clients to taste the local
wine.
Return to Rome at approx 6.00 p.m.. Clients will be accompanied back to their respective hotels, or in the immediate vicinity. |
